Everything is freshly prepared on site, apart from the cakes which are motored in every day by a local lady who bakes them at home. The range spans from healthy to indulgent, with sushi, salads, soup, hot flatbreads, freshly baked baguettes, pasta dishes, and a smashing collection of cakes and pastries.

The Confidential office is particularly fond of the sushi which is an ocean away from the hard, small, skimpy-on-the-fish portions you get in supermarkets. Prices start at just £1.25 for their superb Californian rolls, and nigiri starts at just £1.50.
There's also healthy salads – the selection changes daily but there's usually always a tuna Nicoise and a Caprese. These start from £4 for a small portion and £7.50 for a large portion.
Sandwiches are served on hot flatbreads or freshly baked baguettes. Fillings are a more upmarket version of classic combinations– smoked salmon with dill and roast fennel, for instance. Or teriyaki beef and caramalised onion. Or just cheese and ham if you're a traditionalist.
And if lunch has to be hot for you in January, you've got plenty of options. Thai chicken noodle soup for £4.50 and a daily changing soup. Pasta dishes come hot or cold – the meatballs in tomato sauce for £6.50 is a warming winner, as is the lamb and rosemary ragout, also £6.50.
