DON Giovannis, the glass-fronted Italian on Oxford Street, is giving away a meal for four from its lunch menu.
This long-standing restaurant has recently been refurbished, creating a chic space with an inviting atmosphere. The menus are also new, and the kitchen is now staffed by experienced Italian chefs.
Authentic dishes with fresh, high quality ingredients are the key here. The new Pranzo Veloce lunch menu features classic starters, simple and delicious pizza and pasta dishes, and tempting salads. And they promise to have you fed and settled up within 45 minutes.
Choose from starters including Caprese salad with slices of buffalo mozzarella, beef tomatoes, fresh basil leaves and a light drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. Mains include Pizza proscuitto e funghi with mozzarella, tomato, ham and mushroom, and Caesar salad with grilled chicken breast, anchovies and parmesan.
They're all the traditional favourites – the difference here is that they're made by chefs who learnt these recipes from their Italian mothers. Expect something special.
The lunch menu is available available from 12pm to 2.30pm, Monday to Friday. It's just £6.95 for one course plus a Peroni or soft drink, and £9.95 for two courses plus a Peroni or soft drink.
