THE Northern Quarter is about to get a new pizza restaurant, but not for long.

For £10, evening diners can enjoy a starter, pizza, side salad, dessert and drink

La Pizzeria Ristorante opens on Friday 9 August on the first floor of The Market Restaurant, for one month only. We're fairly certain it'll go down a storm. Why? Check out the prices.

For £10, evening diners can enjoy a starter, pizza, salad, dessert and drink at La Pizzeria Ristorante. Lighter set menus for lunch are priced at just £4 for a pizza, salad and drink and children’s meals with a smaller pizza, dessert and drink are only £3.50.

Included in the set price of just £10 for dinner will be a choice of a soft drink, Italian beer or a glass of wine. The starter consists of artisan breads with sundried tomatoes and mozzarella with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

Then there's a range of pizzas to choose from with thin and crispy or deep bakery crust bases, and toppings including creamy mozzarella, spicy pepperoni and Mediterranean vegetables. You also get a choice of two side salads – peppery rocket and parmesan or a light frisee leaf with baby pea shoots.

For dessert, tuck into home-made, Italian-inspired ice creams.

Not bad at all for a tenner. Get down there and try it while it lasts. It's open at above The Market Restaurant on High Street until 7 September.

In this competition, we're giving away ten pairs of tickets to the launch party of La Pizzeria Ristorante this Thursday (8 August) from 6pm till late. To be in with a chance of winning, click the red button.
