GRAFENE is one of the newest, most exciting restaurants in the city centre. Named after Graphene, first isolated at Manchester University, it’s a food and drink interpretation of the excitement and energy around scientific discovery in the city.

What that means on the plate is food that gives you a real buzz, made from ingredients sourced from local artisan suppliers. Everything is cooked using techniques that bring out its essential flavour.

With starters like pea mousse with pea shoots, pea wafer and Yellison’s goats curd to mains such as salt-aged ribeye with ox cheek and potato terrine, smoked Wensleydale custard and onion purée, food is indulgent and luxurious whilst still tasting of itself. Sublime.

You could win a very special meal for six, to be held in one of Grafene’s intimate private dining areas. The three-course meal includes wine and is certain to be an event to remember.
