MANCHESTER City Centre’s only vegetarian bistro and bar has a brand new afternoon tea menu, and you and a friend could be tasting it on the house.

2Mo0_HTalented Head Chef Wendy Swetnam has created the new menu – which includes sandwiches, homemade cakes and scones, fresh fruit pimms, and tea.

Swetnam’s pedigree includes a stint in 2010 at Noma in Copenhagen, which was named best restaurant in the world in 2010 and 2011.

1847: The Vegetarian Bisto is known for it’s passion in bringing something new to a vegetarian diet, and moving away from the traditional risottos and nut roasts offered everywhere else.

All food and drink menus have been checked and certificated by the vegetarian society and vegan society, meaning absolutely everything served is suitable for a vegetarian or vegan diet.
