You could be turning up to the gala opening of Manchester Film Festival and walking down the red carpet at AMC Great Northern before enjoying a cocktail reception to celebrate the launch.

Next up is the international première of Dennis Viollet – A United Man, which will be followed by a Q & A with the film’s director, Rachel Viollet, the daughter of the Manchester United legend, as well as contributions from famous footballing contributors.
The screening will also include the shorts Strange Weather, starring Maxine Peake, I’m Sorry To Tell You, by Manchester-based actor and director, Ben Price and the world première of Break, starring Sir John Hurt.
Afterwards, enjoy exclusive access to meet the stars of the festival at the after-party which is held at the Hilton Hotel’s Cloud 23 bar. Enjoy a complimentary drink and take in the atmosphere of one of the city’s most important cultural events.
