WHEN you're stocking up on foodie goodies for Christmas, a trip to Bolton could save you bundles. Bolton Market will be selling festive food and drink by the sleigh-load with bargains galore, and no compromise on quality.

Bolton Market has won a trio of big awards in recent years, taking the 'Best Food Market' at the BBC Radio 4 Food and Farming Awards, the ‘Best Indoor Retail Market’ from the National Association of British Market Authorities, and ‘Tourism Retailer of the Year’ at the Manchester Tourism Awards.

And their food and drink stalls sell everything you need for a Christmas feast: the freshest fish, locally sourced meat, artisan cheeses, fruit and vegetables, irresistible sweets, freshly-baked pies and cakes, and much more. All excellent quality and reasonably priced.

It's also a great place to seek out unique gifts such as gadgets, cosmetics and clothes, and there are plenty of options if you want to grab a drink or lunch while you shop. The newly refurbished market has become a popular meeting place with its stalls selling real ales, freshly ground coffees, pizzas, pastries, cakes, and all manner of delicious eats.

If you're the lucky one who wins the hamper, you will need to collect it from Bolton Market by 23 December 2014. The picture above is just an example of a hamper, not the actual prize itself.
