THE BLUE PIG has just launched a brand new cocktail menu and you could win a £50 Friday bar tab to go down and enjoy them. Surely that’s a pretty good start to anyone’s weekend.
And as Friday is Happy Hour from midday until close with selected cocktails only a fiver, that’s quite a few drinks for your dollar (or for your £50 if we’re being strictly accurate.)
Here are just some of the lovely new Happy Hour cocktails:
Acid Wash
Beefeater Gin is stirred with Lillet Blanc and crème de violette whilst the ice is carefully rinsed with absinthe for a subtle enhancement of flavour. Not what you’d expect for a cheap and cheerful Happy Hour cocktail, eh?
Beers Knees
Beer cocktails aren’t just a novelty, they’re extremely refreshing. This one is a mix of Botanist Gin, lemon and honey, topped with lemongrass and ginger lager.
Blood Orange Daiquiri
The Daiquiri is given a flavour reboot with Santa Teresa Orange Rum, Havana Especial, almond syrup and fresh blood orange all served over crushed ice. One of these lovelies is never enough.
