Their head chef takes us on a tour of their fusion cuisine menu
FROM light bites to sharing platters, and covering everything in between, Tiger Tiger has a menu to suit every size of appetite, whether you're a kitten or a big cat. All tastes are also catered for, as Tiger Tiger's offer is nothing if not eclectic.
Their head chef, Radek, agrees. “I'd describe the food at Tiger Tiger as fusion cuisine – we have a wide variety of dishes inspired by a combination of various regional cuisines with new ideas. For example, our burgers on brioche buns are unique – if you love a good burger, we’ve got a few for you to try.”
He continues, enthusiastically: “We love burgers! In fact, my favourite dish on the menu is our Spicy Tower Burger – it's a beefburger with chicken breast, bacon, cheese, corn tortillas, burger mayo, jalapeno and chillies topped with hot sriracha sauce, lettuce, tomatoes and onion served with a double layered brioche bun.”
Sounds like a challenge. Maybe something to try while Tiger Tiger are still offering their half-price deal. But what about our non-meat-eating friends?
“One of my favourite parts of our sharing platters are the rosemary garlic bread bites, but my veggie pick is a cheeky taste of Mexico – fajitas. All our fajitas are served on a sizzling skillet with peppers and onions, served with tortillas, sour cream, salsa, guacamole and grated cheese.”
There's plenty coming off the grill, too. Radek recommends the 12oz ribeye steak – “It's a killer!” And he suggests ordering one grilled medium and served up with a Smoky Old Fashioned – cocktails are, of course, another of Tiger Tiger's specialities.
Sweet tooth? No problemo – gelato ice creams are a favourite. Why not go the whole hog and wade through a Nutella Sundae special – sweet waffles with Nutella chocolate sauce, marshmallows, vanilla, coconut and pistachio gelato ice creams, all topped off with squirty cream.
