All their dishes are gluten, wheat, dairy and allergen-free (and they taste good too)
A new cafe has opened in the Royal Exchange Arcade that offers a menu of dishes free from ten of the fourteen major allergens, including dairy, gluten, and wheat.
3Squared aims to 'redefine your perception of “free from” by giving you familiar favourites with no compromise on taste, presentation or quality.'

Their menu is based on traditional dishes including a Full English breakfast, all day brunch, and bruschetta – but without the ingredients that can put a stress on you physically, such as gluten and refined sugar.
Says 3Squared director Katie Mcintosh, “With the pressures and stressors of everyday life, the food you put in your body is the most effective medicine you can find, but sadly this is often overlooked.
“We created 3Squared to give you the choice to feel the best that you possibly can, and in order to achieve this, we have removed all of the ingredients that lead to bloating, brain fog, sluggishness or inflammation from our menu. “Our aim is to redefine perceptions of healthy food, whilst also staying free from major allergens and refined sugar, meaning that you can trust 3SQUARED to maximise your health, no matter what your dietary preferences are.”
Typical dishes include a breakfast of Overnight sprouted oats with almond milk, blueberry chia compote and pistachio garnish (£5.50); a Superfood brunch of spinach sautéed in coconut oil, slow roasted mushroom and tomato, served on sweet potato toast, with seed garnish (£7.50); and a 'nourish bowl' of Flat iron steak with black rice, sweet leaf dressed with avocado oil, herbs and seeds (£14). Desserts include hot gluten-free, dairy-free brownie with dairy-free ice cream (£6.50).
3Squared also does smoothies such as the 'Immunity' which contains cashew milk, ginger, turmeric, lemon, carrot and honey (£3.95). They offer eat-in dishes and a 'grab and go' breakfast and lunch range.
3Squared is open from 8am-6pm Monday to Friday, and 9am-6pm Saturday and 9am-5pm Sunday, in the Royal Exchange Arcade, Manchester.
