The Manchester-born brand will be treating those that stop by on launch day to a whole host of giveaways

Independent street food spot, Lucky Gyros, is set to open at Manchester Arndale’s Food Court next Monday (24 August) at midday and will give the first 100 customers in the queue a free gyros of their choice.

As for the rest of opening day, customers will have the chance to try their luck at a prize-laden spinning wheel, featuring a free meal deal, merch, and - of course - free gyros.

Those who opt in to Lucky Gyros’ loyalty club can indulge in 12 days of giveaways, with a new freebie revealed every day for 12 days after launching.

Lucky Gyros is bringing a vibrant new independent offering to Manchester Arndale’s Food Court, which has so far been dominated by global chains. Equally suited to quick takeaway lunches on office days as to relaxed pitstops on shopping sprees in the city, it is set to become a new go-to for those craving convenient yet quality, tasty dining in the city centre.

Beyond their namesake, Lucky Gyros will be serving up loaded gyros-inspired platters, punchy salad boxes, and hearty rice bowls. Sides range from classic seasoned skin-on fries, to Greek Fries topped with tzatziki, feta and pomegranate seeds, plus a classic Hummus & Pitta combo.

“We’re so excited to be opening our very first Lucky Gyros site at Manchester Arndale Food Court,” says founder Michael Jebelli, an experienced foodie entrepreneur. “We’re really proud to be flying the flag for independents, delivering quality, tasty food at a comfortable price point. This is just the beginning for Lucky Gyros, and we can’t wait to see the brand continue to grow.”

David Allinson, Centre Director at Manchester Arndale, said: “Lucky Gyros is a fantastic addition to Manchester Arndale’s food court. With demand for a variety of flavours continues to grow, it is important that our food court offers visitors a mix of cuisines. Lucky Gyros brings something different to our line-up and we are sure it will be a hit with visitors.”
