Festive afternoon tea at Knowsley Hall
Knowsley Hall, Prescot
14 December
We like the look of this Christmassy afternoon tea at stunning stately home Knowsley Hall. It's inspired by the poem The Owl and the Pussycat, which was written by Edward Lear when he was living and working at Knowsley Hall in the 1830s. Featuring ingredients freshly sourced from Knowsley Estate’s farms, gamekeepers, and private gardens, it looks set to be an extra-special seasonal treat.
The Tudor Songbook at Christmas
14 December
Experience the Christmas music of the Tudor period at this magical time of year. From joyous and lively to more reflective and peaceful, enjoy the songs and music that the Norris family would have celebrated with at Yuletide in the 1500s in their newly-built home, accompanied by a live lutist.
Nana Funk's Christmas Party
20 December
Nana Funk, Liverpool’s favourite all-singing, all-dancing Nana, will be lighting up Downstairs at the Everyman with some slightly dusty Christmas Sparkle. Join Nana for an evening of chats, songs and laughter. Plus, you'll dig into a Funky Turkey Curry buffet served with chutneys, rice and Nana bread. Sold.
