Back in 2017, The Caledonia launched its "creatureless" food and drink menu with nothing but animal-free produce and hasn’t looked back since. The XL poutine with chim patties, baecon mayo and Guinness gravy, and the Korean BBQ wings are enough to get any stubborn carnivore quivering.

Voted the Best Vegan Restaurant at the 2019 VegfestUK, this certainly isn’t one to be missed and the best part is, you don’t even have to peel yourself out of your pyjamas to enjoy it. Indigo Greens offers vegan pick-up and delivery, with popular dishes including hearty breakfasts, nourish bowls, chakra smoothies and loaded toasts.

Serving brunch, breakfast, cakes and ethically-sourced artisan coffee, Potts is a must-visit pitstop and even has bragging rights to an entire menu of plant-based pancakes.

You may find Elvis Presley’s Hot Dog playing over speakers at this 50s-style diner but you certainly won’t find any on the menu - well, not in the traditional sense anyway. You will, however, find Footlong Dogs filled with tasty meat and cheese alternatives and all the trimmings, alongside a selection of subs, burgers, fries, tacos and Stromboli.
