The Liverpool destination has included some eggs-tra fun additions for this year

Royal Albert Dock Liverpool is inviting families to celebrate Easter with a handful of free, family-friendly activities and workshops, as its much-loved Bunny Tail Trail returns with more egg-citing events to keep little ones busy this Easter holiday.

Between 30 March and 12 April, children can hop around the dock in search of 16 colourful bunny vinyls, each containing a letter that spells out an Easter phrase. Find all the letters and decipher the code before submitting it via the dock’s website to be in with the chance of winning a spectacular day out at the dock. The lucky winner will be treated to a family ticket for Splash Tours, arts and crafts goodies from The Nest, treats from Roly’s Fudge and more.

Families can pick up a trail map, a pair of bunny ears, and a sticker for free from Roly’s Fudge or The Nest.

New for this year, families can also get involved in free, drop-in workshops and activities, perfect for keeping busy this half term.

From 12pm-4pm on 30th March, 1st, 6th (Easter Monday), 8th and 10th April, little ones can get into the spirit of the season by heading to Revolution to create colourful Easter paper wreaths, or to PANAM for themed face-painting.

A special Dock Shorts animation will also be projected onto the facade of the Maritime Museum from April 3rd to 6th (8pm-10pm), transforming the iconic building with a colourful Easter-themed display.

Families can also challenge themselves to beat the clock at Escape Hunt with a range of exhilarating escape rooms, step back in time with a ride on the Victorian Carousel or discover The Fab Four’s journey to stardom at The Beatles Story.

Feast on Easter specials with delicious dockside dining, including a sharing board at Miller and Carter, complete with roast Shropshire chicken, lamb rump, and a 10oz 50‑day aged black angus ribeye, or visit Roly’s Fudge to try their limited edition Hot Cross Bun fudge.

Shoppers can also browse unique gifts in the dock’s array of retailers, such as floral lightweight scarves perfect for spring in Harbour Accessories, chocolate treats in Quay Confectionery and colourful prints in The Nest.
