Prepare for 16,000 square feet of gaming
Since opening on Hanover Street back in 2016, Roxy Ball Room has become something of a mainstay on the nightlife scene around Liverpool ONE – not a huge surprise considering they’ve managed to nail down that winning combination of classic games and booze.
And now, thanks to the success of the original space, a new Liverpool location is set to open next year.
The second Roxy Ball Room will be situated on Rainford Square in the Cavern Quarter, and will offer two floors’ worth of gaming, including shuffleboard, ping pong, pool, retro arcade gaming, four full-size bowling lanes and even a nine-hole mini golf course.
Joel Mitchell, marketing manager for Roxy Ball Room, has said that: “Liverpool is a fantastic city and when the opportunity presented itself to take on the beautiful brick and glass building in Rainford Square we grabbed it with both hands.
"Our existing site in Liverpool ONE has really been embraced by the locals who have made it the go-to place for a fun, different night out. We are confident we will compliment and also add something different to the Cavern Quarter in terms of social dynamics, including a strong emphasis on rock and indie music that we already feature in our Roxy venues."
This will take the number of Roxy Ball Rooms owned by Roxy Leisure Ltd to eight - all based in the north of England, with three in Leeds and venues in Huddersfield and Manchester.
Roxy Ball Room’s second Liverpool location will open in Spring 2019.
