The two-day event celebrates the best flavours and produce from the region

Bordeaux Liverpool is a two-day event, providing guests with the rare opportunity to meet the Bordeaux vignerons, taste the wines of the region, and eat exceptionally well.

The two-day event features an evening meal at The Art School on Tuesday 22 September and lunch at Barnacle on Wednesday 23 September.

Each day will begin with wine tasting with Bordeaux vignerons, before a 5-course dinner at The Art School, and a 4-course lunch at Barnacle, both ending with live music from local musicians. Diners will be in great company, with guests from Royal Academy of Culinary Arts, Disciples of Escoffier, and the Association Culinaire Française, alongside The Art School Founding Members and the Commanderie de Bordeaux à Liverpool, who are all joining this celebration of gastronomy in the North West.

Chef Patron of The Art School, Paul Askew says: “This is the first time these organisations have come together in Liverpool, and I am proud that it is happening here. We want this to be a celebration of what the north of England has to offer, and it means a great deal to be welcoming members from across the country to our great city. I very much look forward to welcoming you.”
