The scare attraction has announced Liverpool favourite The Bus Yard is the official courtyard partner

Liverpool’s most horrifying annual scare attraction Newsham Scream Park has announced that local favourite The Bus Yard will be this year’s official courtyard partner, transforming the heart of this year's Halloween attraction as organisers also unveil four original horror experiences.

Tickets are now available for the scare attraction, which returns to the abandoned former Victorian orphanage and asylum on 9 October.

Known across the city for its hugely popular street food events, The Bus Yard will curate the entire courtyard experience throughout the Halloween season, serving a menu of burgers, crispy chicken and indulgent churros alongside a fully stocked bar and live music.Designed to encourage guests to make a full evening of their visit, the courtyard will once again become the social heart of Newsham Scream Park, offering somewhere to relax, refuel and soak up the atmosphere before stepping back into the scares.

The street food specialist will bring its popular chicken menu to Newsham Scream Park including salt and pepper chicken, chicken burgers, loaded fries and smash burgers and churros for dessert.

Alongside the new courtyard experience, guests will encounter four completely original horror experiences, each designed around a different style of fear: SpecimenZ, Waxworks, Cut Throat Lane and The Hellfire Club.

Kevin Midgley, Director of Newsham Scream Park, explained: "Every year we challenge ourselves to create something guests have never experienced before, but this year we've looked beyond the scare attractions too.

"The Bus Yard is one of Liverpool's best-loved independent brands, so bringing them to Newsham Scream Park was the perfect fit. We wanted the courtyard to become part of the experience, somewhere people can arrive early, enjoy great food and drinks, soak up the atmosphere with live music and stay afterwards to relive everything they've just experienced.

"Alongside that, we've created four completely new horror experiences, each offering a different style of fear. Whether it's navigating complete darkness, coming face-to-face with Victorian horrors or stepping inside one of our most intense experiences yet, we genuinely believe this is our biggest and best event to date."

Andy Laird, Director of The Bus Yard, added: "We're thrilled to be joining Newsham Scream Park for 2026. It's become one of Liverpool's standout Halloween events, and we're looking forward to bringing The Bus Yard experience to the courtyard with great street food and a fantastic atmosphere."
