Sonic Yootha will bring their unmistakable feel-good sets of disco, queer classics and high-energy

LGBTQIA+ champions Sonic Yootha will host a takeover party at Royal Albert Dock during Liverpool’s Pride celebrations, bringing unmistakable feel-good sets of disco, queer classics and high-energy to Anchor Courtyard.

Taking place between 12-4pm on 25 July, visitors can join in the party and enjoy dance floor hits. Invisible Wind Factory is leading on production of the courtyard with a central DJ booth providing visitors with a 360 DJ experience. WMNKND and resident Sonic Yootha are providing the four-hour outdoor soundtrack to Pride celebrations.

Anchor Courtyard will provide pop-up bars from The One O'Clock Gun, Bar Glue and more, with a selection of refreshments to enjoy throughout the afternoon. Bringing the Pride spirit & energy to the inner quay, Jackie J, Sonic Yootha’s unmissable drag queen, will bring her bike sound system, created by Invisible Wind Factory, playing plenty of Pride classics.

Across the dock, venues will join the celebrations with themed events, special menus and accessories. Head to Gusto for a Pride bottomless brunch complete with two courses and 90 minutes of flowing drinks hosted by a Lady Gaga tribute act. Those looking to take the celebrations home can also visit The Nest for colourful pin badges that elevate any outfit.
