Meditate amongst Van Gogh’s impressionist paintings, dine surrounded by Monet’s works and more
An exciting, immersive experience is set to open next month, allowing visitors to experience some of the most famous artworks of all time like they’ve never seen them before.
Beyond Monet and Beyond Van Gogh is set to arrive at Exhibition Centre Liverpool on Tuesday 15 July, where the multimedia attraction will remain until Friday 15 August.
Following a record-breaking run in 2024, the event is returning to the city for an even bigger four-week showing. New for 2025, ticketholders can immerse themselves even further with captivating additions, including extended ‘exit rooms’ that continue the magic even longer.
In Beyond Van Gogh a winding path will take art lovers along a Sunflower Alley between images of Vincent’s houses and landscapes with the route flanked by a host of bright giant blooms, while there are also benches where people can pause, contemplate and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere.
And for Beyond Monet, the Giverny Gardens will transport people to the French Impressionist’s beloved gardens where they will walk across a re-creation of the famous green bridge spanning a shimmering representation of his famous lily ponds and under arches of cascading blooms.
Visitors will also have the chance to dine in the midst of Monet’s iridescent impressionistic world during a special evening session on Wednesday 16 July, complete with a three-course meal inspired by the artworks.
Prices start from £99 and include entrance to Beyond Monet: The Immersive Experience, a ‘Sunrise’ arrival cocktail, three-course meal and half a bottle of wine per person. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available.
A programme of complementary activities, including yoga, pilates, mediation and painting sessions, will all also be available on selected dates throughout the exhibition’s residency in the city.
