ARC INSPIRATIONS - the company behind local brands including Headingley’s Arc and Trio, The Pit, and Kith & Kin - is preparing to open the third Leeds installment of its Banyan bar & restaurant, in Horsforth.
It was a no brainer to transform our Napa and Kobe sites into the stylish, genuine and beautiful Banyan
Arc Inspirations’ Kobe closed its doors on Monday 31 October, when it began undergoing a complete overhaul before being reopened as Banyan on Friday 18 November. This follows in the footsteps of a similar recent rebrand, whereby Roundhay’s Napa became Banyan Roundhay in October, a renovation project that has cost £750,000 for both venues.
“We have had an incredible response to our new look Banyans in Manchester, Harrogate and Leeds City Square - not only from our customers but from our staff too. It was a no brainer to transform our Napa and Kobe sites into the stylish, genuine and beautiful Banyan to give customers a sophisticated setting” said Arc Inspirations’ CEO Martin Wolstencroft.
Banyan City Square’s extensive food and drink menu and large outdoor area has made it a popular destination since opening in April of this year, and Arc will surely be looking to replicate this popularity by sticking with a familiar format.
Consolidating these two bars into the Banyan brand isn’t the only brand-expansion Arc are doing at the minute. A second iteration of Merrion Street cocktail bar Manahatta will be opening on East Parade in early 2017 - after several years of experimenting with different concepts, Arc Inspirations look like they’ve found a format that works for them.
