HALLOWEEN might be over, but some people aren't ready to pack the costumes back into their dressing-up box just yet.
Thought Bubble - Leeds' annual celebration of sequential art - came to a close this weekend with a two-day convention of comic illustration and writing. In true convention tradition, the fancy dress and cosplay was out in force.
The inclusive, egalitarian vibe of the convention is reflected in the friendly atmosphere and the range of big and small, local and international stalls and artists, as well as the variety of costumes on display: different incarnations and eras of big-name heroes and villains, obscure indie comic characters, video game extras and lots, and lots, and lots of Harley Quinns - male and female.
