IT'S the battle of Smithdown.
Two weeks ago we launched a search for the best restaurant beneath the blue suburban skies of south Liverpool.
We said: "It’s not what WE think, it’s what you think."
Our public vote off on the Liverpool Confidential Twitter account, began with 24 establishments across Woolton, Wavertree, Aigburth, Childwall and Mossley Hill.
Thousands of votes were cast and today you have whittled the two dozen down to two.

Whose food builds you up and never lets you down?
Which if the two has the warmest atmosphere?
Which waiters and chefs go the extra mile so you, literally, don’t have to?
Obviously, you don’t have to live in south Liverpool to vote, but you WILL have to go to Twitter if you want your opinion to count.
