The events have been organised in partnership with LGBTQIA+ champions, Sonic Yootha and Invisible Wind Factory
This Saturday (26 July), Royal Albert Dock will celebrate Liverpool Pride with an afternoon of music, joy and community spirit.
The free-to-attend event will take place at Anchor Courtyard, located on the corner of Gower Street and Salthouse Quay. Between 1-4:30pm, the venue will be turned into an open-air party space full of high-energy DJ sets with Sonic Yootha taking over the decks, including WMNKND - a firm favourite at previous Pride pop-up stages.
A specially decorated bike sound system, created by Invisible Wind Factory in collaboration with Peloton Liverpool, will also cruise around the quay between 2-4pm. Sonic Yootha drag artist Jackie J will join the bike, stopping around the dock for dance breaks and the chance to snap a selfie.
Dockside venues will also serve up special menus between 12-5pm, with The One O’Clock Gun serving summer favourites like Sangrias and Francie’s Focaccia and Coffee dishing up Italian sweet treats.
At Revolution, there’ll be a Pride Day Party from 1:30pm, featuring a limited-edition cocktail with a portion of the proceeds being donated to Stonewall UK.
Sean Morrison, Estate Manager at Royal Albert Dock, comments: “By teaming up with the brilliant minds behind Sonic Yootha and Invisible Wind Factory, we’re bringing a vibrant, free event to the dock that’s all about inclusivity, energy and community. Whether you're joining us after the march or just soaking up the atmosphere, everyone’s welcome to be part of the celebration for one of Liverpool’s cultural calendar highlights.”
