THE bubblegum diner is back where Eddy Rockets left off.

The retro-American diner concept returns to Liverpool when Ed’s Easy Diner opens its first restaurant on Lord Street, in March.

Located close to Debenhams, Ed’s Easy Diner will feature all the things dirty burger joints made us forget: retro booth seating, checkerboard flooring and juke boxes playing the Everly Brothers,

Expect an American inspired menu including hamburgers, hotdogs and chilli fries.

Ed’s will open on the ground floor and first floors initially but is set to expand over a number of levels.

The popular diner is the fifth catering brand to sign at Liverpool ONE in the past year, joining Byron, Browns, Hotel Chocolat Cocoa Bar Cafe and Home.

Andrew Guy, CEO of Ed’s Easy Diner, commented: “We wanted a prime location with high footfall for our first diner in Liverpool and Lord Street was perfect.

“The space will allow us to grow our offer over different levels and create a complete retro 1950s experience for all our customers.”
