Return of the Gods - World Museum
The inspiration behind some of comic's greatest superheroes from Wonder Woman to Hercules, this family friendly exhibition dives deep into the world of Roman and Greek mythology. Relive the myths of Hera yearning for revenge on God of thunder, Zeus; to Demeter letting the crops grow in order for Spring to blossom. Get lost in over 100 towering sculptures depicting Gods and heroes from ancient times.

Pirates and Princesses - Otterspool Adventure
Princess school and swashbuckling sword fights await over at Otterspool Adventure this May half term for their 'Pirates and Princesses' event. Guest appearances from famous characters will also be happening throughout the week to give children the chance to meet everyone from Tinkerbell and Captain Hook to Elsa and Captain Jack Sparrow.

Liverpool Watersports Centre
With the weather dial turned to hot, the waters of Queen's Dock may certainly be an inviting refuge this half term, with a variety of activities on offer such as an inflatable aqua park, kayak and canoe hire, and swan pedalos. The centre also offers kids club activities where kids can try all of the experiences above, and even paddleboarding.

Junior Rangers/ Mini Rangers holiday club - Chester Zoo
This three day club experience allows children ages 5-8 (mini rangers) and 8-11 (junior rangers) to explore the zoo as well as discovering and learning about different animals both big and small. Throughout the day, they'll be able to participate in a range of activities from games to arts and crafts at the zoo's learning centre.
Besides the holiday clubs, the zoo will be open for normal visitation throughout the half term break.

Free jump - Freedome Bounce Park
The perfect place for little kids and big kids (that's you parents) alike, embark on a gravity defying experience during a free jump at a trampoline park. With over 37 interconnected trampolines that span across the floor and walls of Freedome, no bounce will be the same.

Dinostorybarn - Calderstones Park
Step into a prehistoric world with a good old fashioned dinosaur story. An afternoon filled with play, storytelling, and dinosaur inspired arts and crafts. Best suited for children aged 4-9, but all are welcome to join in on the roaring fun.

Mini Moles - Friends of Williamson Tunnels
Deep beneath the ground in Liverpool's Edge Lane are the Williamson Tunnels, a cavernous expanse of sandstone and extraordinary finds from more than 100 years ago. The mini-moles experience allows kids to explore the tunnels in a fun and adventurous way with a little work book, helmet and hi-vis vest to match, and a certificate upon completion. Don't forget to get a picture with the mole over in Williamson's basement.

Jungle Parc - Walton Hall Gardens
High ropes and obstacles await for all adventurers at Jungle Parc. There's also a mini-zoo, crazy golf, a play area, and some cracking gardens to have a picnic on or to lounge around in the sun. If you're legs are a bit tired from all of the climbing and roaming of the site, why not hop onto the land train for a ride.

Martin Mere
The Wetland Centre at Martin Mere has a huge offering of activities this half term for the little 'uns in your life from art and craft workshops and live book readings to wilder adventures like moth trapping, pond dipping and an egg to duckling experience.

All day skate - Planet Ice
If the hot weather isn't for you, why not cool down and get your skates on at the all day ice skate events at Planet Ice. Skate hire is available at the rink, and for the young ones who need a little extra assistance, penguin aids can also be hired on the day.
There are also three and five day holiday camps on offer which include 30 minute ice skating lessons, as well as access to the public skate, a breakfast and hot drink.

Petting zoo and horse rides - Acorn Farm
Open seven days a week, Acorn Farm is home to several animals from cows, goats, pigs, horses, rabbits and even meerkats! Many animals at the farm can be pet and fed. The farm’s facilities also include two outdoor play areas, and a woodland walk. At weekends, the farm runs petting sessions and horse rides.
