CROSBY'S own X Factor royalty Marcus Collins treated partygoers to a rooftop performance at the opening bash of the city's latest hotel.

The EPIC Apart Hotel on Seel Street is, apparently, the newest addition to the brand which operates the EPIC Serviced Apartments based in Duke Street. Last Thursday's launch was hosted by the owners of EPIC Simon and Fiona Beer.

Collins' vocal show was “impromptu and unplugged”, but not in a last-75-bus-home way.

No. “Marcus is about to start recording new materials and took time out from his busy schedule to remind everyone what a tremendous voice he has,” said a spokesman.

“Amazing Bug Hollywood search lights lit up the rooftop and Seel Street to accompany Marcus’s stunning vocals.

“It allowed the intimate setting to take on a premiere feeling,” Confidential learns.
