All tickets include a signed hardback copy of Malcolm Prince’s book
A book launch, celebrating the release of a brand-new biography of one of the country’s best-loved entertainers - the much-missed Paul O’Grady - is taking place next month at Liverpool Empire.
Presented by James Seabright, by arrangement with HarperCollins, the deeply personal and revealing biography by Paul’s longtime collaborator Malcolm Prince draws on two decades of friendship and tells the story of the man behind the icon: the sharp-witted, fiercely loyal, irrepressibly funny, and deeply private individual, known to his close friends as ‘Savage’.
The evening will see host Jodie Prenger interview the author about the book and his relationship with Paul, giving audience members the opportunity to also ask questions about his incredible life.
“A unique insight into the life of a true British icon.” - Graham Norton
Author Malcolm Prince was Paul’s radio producer at the BBC for 20 years, where they worked together on feature documentaries, seasonal specials, and Paul’s popular Sunday afternoon Radio 2 show, which ran for 14 years.
Malcolm will be available after the show for a book signing. All tickets include a signed hardback copy of the book (RRP £22).
Where: Empire Theatre, Liverpool
When: Sunday 9 November 2025
