Get away from the daily grind with a whiskey in your hand
Irish whiskey-makers Jameson have come up with a novel way to launch their new Passport App, while at the same time helping folk (temporarily) get away from impending Brexit woes.
Between 1-16 March, Jameson’s Passport Offices will be popping up in various UK cities, including Liverpool, to provide a space for whiskey lovers to enjoy a glass of Jameson, ginger ale and lime on them.
Visitors are also welcome to stay, listen to some tunes and to trial Jameson’s brand new Passport app. This has been designed to enhance the social drinking aspect with augmented reality experiences, such as stepping into a virtual rugby stadium and playing bar bowling.
The app also features challenges, as well as giving the lowdown on how to make whiskey-based cocktails at home. It will also include a guide on finding the best nearby bars.
Liverpool’s Jameson Whiskey Passport Office will be on Church Street between 14th-16th March
The idea is to introduce like-minded whiskey lovers to each other, get them chatting over a drink and adding a fun element by setting some inspired challenges and missions. App users will also be the first in line to enter Jameson competitions to win top prizes.
Liverpool’s Jameson Whiskey Passport Office will be on Church Street between 14th – 16th March.
If you are unable to visit in person, you can still download the Jameson Passport App (available on the App Store and Google Play) to find out about the best places to go and hang out this March, from St Patrick’s Day brunches, whiskey tastings and cocktail masterclasses, to parties.
