LIVERPOOL is to host its first ever music industry expo later this month. 

Organised as part of Liverpool Sound City, the two day event promises to bring a selection of “new and forward-thinking companies” together at The Echo Arena to showcase the best in music, tech and more. 

The event, say promoters, will be of equal value to consumers and music digital professionals.

The Expo is divided into four areas: A Music Hub promises everything you need to create,record & perform. Music production companies, suppliers and education services will be on hand such as Dolphin Music, Access to Music, Yamaha, LIPA, M Audio, Metropolis, Ward Hadaway, SAE Institute, Headstock, Sound Technology, LJMU

A DJ Hub showcases the latest tech tools and gadgets for DJs and electronic music producers and many more - featuring American Audio, Denon DJ, Pioneer DJ, Vestax, DJ TV Live, Traktor DJ, Mastermix, Arriba Cases, BPM

The Digital Hub in association with Open Labs: The best new innovations in creative and digital tech featuring D3T, Milky Tea, Totem Games, Sentric Music, North Liverpool Academy and UKTI NW.

And finally The Stage – featuring interactive demonstrations throughout the day from a selection of the exhibitors listed above, where attendees will be able to explore, learn and get involved with the latest in music, tech and digital innovation.

The Expo will be running from 12 noon till 5pm on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th of May - and is free to Sound City delegates and wristband holders (£10 without either pass).
