ARGENTINIAN restaurant, Cau, has launched  ‘friendship festival' #CAUnival across its twelve UK sites, inspired by South American carnival Dia Del Amigo, a public holiday across Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay.

#CAUnival will provide £1 from every meal ordered to the charity in a bid to celebrate friendship

Best known for its Argentinian steaks and speciality cuts of beef, Castle Street’s Cau Liverpool will feature a range of events and promotions alongside a set #CAUnival menu ‘inspired by the vibrancy, colour and cultural diversity of Buenos Aires’ until the end of August.

On 27 August CAU's head chef will be serving a specially created #CAUnival feasting menu including tapas starters, legs of lamb, a suckling pig and a Asado grilled rump at CAU Liverpool. There are a limited number of tickets available for the feasting table.

A typical Cau feasting plate from Cau's A La Carte menu includes 400g each of the lomito, asado de chorizo and tira de ancho cuts (the 'King of Steaks').

In association with humanitarian children’s charity Action Against Hunger, #CAUnival will provide £1 from every meal ordered to the charity in a bid to celebrate friendship, kindness and sharing.
