PROMOTION
FEW restaurants get to open their doors with a pile of great reviews already stacked up but Côte Bistro is one of the lucky ones. This French-style bistro seems to charm diners wherever it pulls up its stripy awning, with the Sunday Times proclaiming it ‘fantastic’, and the Good Food Guide awarding it ‘Best Value Restaurant in the UK’.
Their set menu offers excellent value for money at £9.95 for two courses and £11.90 for three courses.
It opened in December in Liverpool ONE, serving French bistro dishes, cooked to order, from fresh ingredients.
Lamb rump
Classic menu options include Moules Marinières, beef Bourguignon and chargrilled corn-fed Breton chicken. There’s a tempting selection of desserts such as house specialties crème caramel and crème brûlée. And they’ve got a great breakfast menu that will almost have you believing you’re starting the day in a Left Bank brasserie; the lovingly-made eggs Benedict has to be experienced.
Côte Bistro’s set menu offers excellent value for money at £9.95 for two courses and £11.90 for three courses, and lends itself well to a quick lunch or relaxed, early evening dining. It’s available 12 noon to 7pm, Monday to Friday. Popular dishes include breadcrumbed calamari with tartare sauce and salmon fishcakes with spinach salad and a wholegrain mustard sauce.
Cheese board
The set menu changes fortnightly, as do their seasonal specials, so you’ll always find something new to try. There’s also an extensive, reasonably priced wine list featuring producers from all over France.
Côte believe their success, “reflects our focus on what’s right for the guest – great food and great service, at a great price.”
