The skating rink returns to the Baltic Triangle this November ahead of the festive season
BOXPARK Liverpool’s renowned ICEBOX skating rink returns this November with its biggest site yet, providing more space for skating as well as brand-new Skate with Santa sessions, Advanced Bring Your Own Skate sessions and Student Skates.
Returning to BOXPARK Liverpool from Monday 16 November, the expanded rink is bringing the festivities alongside the venue’s independent street food traders who will be serving their own Christmas specials and winter-warming drinks.
Alongside Skate with Santa, a packed programme of Christmas entertainment and special events will take place across the festive season with more details set to be unveiled in the coming weeks.
The expanded ICEBOX will also provide an enhanced setting for group visits and Christmas celebrations, with schools, charities, businesses and corporate groups able to experience the attraction throughout the season.
Joel Lee, General Manager at BOXPARK Liverpool, said: “ICEBOX has grown every year since we first launched it and we’re really excited to make the experience the best yet for Christmas 2026.
“Making the rink even bigger means there’ll be even more space to enjoy being out on the ice. We want people to have a brilliant skating experience when they visit us and the bigger rink is going to make a real difference.
“Skate with Santa is also something completely new for this year and we think it’s going to be really special. Christmas is all about creating those magical memories and the chance for children to actually get on the ice with Santa is something we can’t wait to see.
