Four of the city’s restaurants will host one special dinner for Action Against Hunger
LIVERPOOL will play host to Action Against Hunger’s Moveable Feast for the first time on Thursday 22nd March. All funds raised from the special dining event will go directly to support Action Against Hunger’s work to end child malnutrition in over 49 countries around the world.
There are only 60 spaces available per event (with others happening in cities including Manchester and Leeds). Liverpool’s event will start with a drinks reception at Buyers Club, the much loved hidden gem bar, kitchen and garden, who have come up with a uniquely crafted cocktail and aperitivo for guests to enjoy before moving on to enjoy the first course at The Art School
Local food hero, Chef Patron Paul Askew, will be opening up his exclusive private dining room for the night for guests to enjoy one of the dishes he is renowned for, using only the finest produce and ingredients.
Guests will then move on to the multi award-winning London Carriage Works, which serves delicious modern British dishes. Guests will dine in the Old Book Room amidst floor to ceiling windows, original brickwork, iron columns and views of the neighbouring Georgian houses.
Tickets are £80, including entry, a drinks reception and a 4-course dinner with drink pairings
The next course will come courtesy of Oktopus who will treat guests to beautiful, seasonal modern European sharing dishes. The venue, which is situated in an ambient hidden courtyard behind Hope Street, has been receiving rave reviews from National press since it’s opening last year.
The final course will be served in the stunning Hope Street Hotel which will open it’s incredible fifth floor private dining room for the occasion. With stunning views across the whole of Liverpool, guests will be wowed by both the view and their specially prepared dishes.
Emma Cullingford, Head of Food Related Fundraising for Action Against Hunger said: “Guests are going to be in for a really special treat, dining at some of Action Against Hunger’s top supporting restaurants throughout Liverpool. Every course within each venue has been carefully thought about to give diners a unique evening filled with mouth-watering food and an experience they won’t forget”.
The ‘Moveable Feast’ will be in aid of international development organisation, Action Against Hunger with all funds raised going directly to support their charity.
