From curries and craft beers to tapas and tasting menus, win meals for two at some of our favourite places in Leeds
Seeing as Summer’s well and truly over, we thought we’d give our readers something to look forward to in the Autumn (besides pumpkin-spiced-everything) in the form of a night out at not one, not two, not three-four-five-or-six, but seven of our favourite city centre restaurants and bars.
We’ve put together a list of some of our favourite places we’ve visited in the past 12 months - ones that have scored well in reviews, hosted great events, or just the places that we keep going back to time and time again - and decided to send one lucky reader (plus a guest) to all of them, in a prize worth over £500
To put it one way, that’s a night out at one of Leeds best bars and restaurants every night for a week, or how about once a week for almost two months? Imagine, your whole social life sorted all throughout October and November, right up until the start of the festive season (when you’ll have plenty of office parties and nights out to look forward to...)
The winner can look forward to Basque-inspired tapas and a bewildering gin selection from Pintura; creative, modern-British fine dining Shears Yard; 28-day aged steaks cooked on the Josper grill in the luxurious surroundings of Stockdales; award-winning Keralan curries at Tharavadu, the full tasting menu and a couple of home-baked desserts at Good Food Guide-recommended The Swine That Dines; Bundobust’s iconic Indian street food washed down with plenty of craft beers, and a bottle of wine from The Reliance’s enviable list, with some of their house-cured charcuterie to go with it.
It’s an incredible prize worth over five hundred quid, and it’s all going to one winner. What can you win?
One winner will receive the following prize package: £100 to spend at Pintura, £100 to spend at Shears Yard, £100 to spend at Stockdales, £75 to spend at The Swine That Dines, £50 to spend at Tharavadu, £50 to spend at The Reliance, £50 to spend at Bundobust (Leeds). (the "Prize")
The Prize may not be exchanged for a cash value. Entrants must be aged 18 years or over and a resident of the United Kingdom. Any entries received after 12:00 Monday 2 October will not be valid. The winners will be selected at random on 2/10/2017. The decision of Leeds Confidential is final.
