Taking place at Globe Road all weekend (pictured above), Friday sees hipster-hop offering World Island kick off with headliner Sampha, as well as support from the likes of Tom Tripp, BadBadNotGood and Blossom Calderone. An Evening with Katie Piper – City Varieties Hall
Her debut theatre tour, ‘What’s In My Head’ sees burns survivor and activist Katie Piper talk candidly about beauty standards, positivity and creating confidence in an Instagram age. Limited tickets remain, but there are still meet and greet options available via the official City Varieties website

Northern Print Fair – Duke Studios
Deck out your abode in time for summer with some fresh new prints. We’ll be stocking up on kitsch slogans from Abbey Withington, minimal topographies from Hashtag House and child-friendly posters from Paper Joy – all washed down round the corner at Northern Monk’s Neapolitan Pale Ale launch party.
