Hold your ceremony in our Cotton Room. It’s not fussy or formal but it is a very impressive space with grand dimensions – large enough to welcome up to 150 guests for your civil ceremony. There’s a quirky charm to the exposed beams and rafters and the rough textured walls, with their industrial edges softened by strings of Edison bulbs draped to give a romantic glow. Reclaimed cinema seating creates a natural aisle so you can still make your entrance in the time-honoured way and the whole room is bathed in natural light.
After the ‘I dos’ move through to our Bistro, Bar and Grill, occupying the original spinning block of Holmes Mill, not forgetting photos in our charming Spinning Block Alley. It’s your wedding, your way so you don’t have to follow convention for your wedding breakfast. Choose between traditional menus featuring the best of local produce or informal sharing feasts featuring platters of everyone’s favourite foods.
At Holmes Mill, our wedding co-ordinators will help you plan your perfect day or give you free rein to follow your own vision. We can welcome 50-150 seated guests for your wedding breakfast and up to 180 guests for your evening reception. There is also a 39-bedroom hotel as part of the Holmes Mill complex.
