A chance to explore the inner workings of more than 80 artists' and creatives' minds

Wirral Open Studio Tour will be returning this weekend, 10th - 11th June, for their biggest event to date.

The free event sees artists and makers opening the doors to their homes and studios, giving visitors an exciting opportunity to access creative spaces not usually open to the public.

Now in its 13th year of celebrating visual arts, the tour will have a whopping 83 artists and 51 studios taking part in the event across the length of the Wirral Peninsula.

Artists and creatives participating in the Open Studio event, work in a variety of disciplines including painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, glass, textiles and jewellery, so there's something for everyone to enjoy on the tour.

"It's been a tough few years with the pandemic and the cost of living crisis," says Helen Smith, a glass artist and tour organiser, "but this year's show is set to be our biggest yet, bursting with colour, creativity and uplifting art to tackle that negativity. ]

“And, of course what makes Wirral Open Studio Tour different from so many other exhibitions is that, at every venue, you will find the artists themselves ready to welcome you and show you around.”
