Back for it's ten year anniversary, the Liverpool Craft Beer Expo will showcase 100s of beers from over 30 breweries
Set to take place this weekend from the 8th-10th at Black Lodge Brewery, the Craft Beer Expo is back for the tenth year in a row, bringing 100s of different beers from more than 30 breweries.
Alongside the selection of international and national brewed ales on offer such as Crossover, Farmyard, Mill Hill and Seven Brothers, there will also be a variety of local beers for you to try from breweries such as Glen Affric, Top Rope, Black Lodge Brewery themselves, and more.
Whilst the main attraction may be the craft beers, entertainment will be provided across the weekend by DJ's, and a range of food vendors will also be in attendance including Bundobust and Dough Bros.
"This is the 10th year of the festival and we’re going to make sure it’s a big one." Says co-founder of Black Lodge Brewery and curator of the festival.
" We are excited to invite some of the World’s best breweries back to Liverpool to showcase their beer. We try to create an inclusive festival atmosphere, for beer newcomers and aficionados alike. There will also be gin, cider and cocktail bars for those who like an alternative to beer."
Whilst also being a celebration of all things beer, this year's event will be raising money in support of local charity, Love Jasmine. The charity offers one-to-one support to bereaved family members directly affected by the loss of a child. As well as the funds raised from tickets and beer sales, customers are able to donate their unspent beer tokens which will be matched in funds for the charity by the event organisers.
Tickets cost £12 per session, which run from Thursday 8th, till Saturday 10th June - more information can be found on the Craft Beer Expo website.
