Liverpool’s family-run home and garden retailer returns to the town after eight years
Liverpool-born home and garden retailer Taskers is returning to Formby after eight years, opening a new 8,000 sq ft home store.
Opening its doors Thursday 27 August, the new Taskers store on Altcar Road will take over the former Formby Cycles premises and offer a carefully selected range of the retailer’s best-selling furniture, lighting, pictures and mirrors, rugs and home accessories.
To celebrate the grand opening, Taskers is giving shoppers an exclusive 10% off discount on everything online and in both its stores throughout the bank holiday weekend when they use code AUG10.
Oliver Tasker, Director at Taskers, said: “Returning to Formby is something we’re incredibly excited about. The new store will give us the opportunity to bring Taskers closer to customers in the area, and we’re looking forward to opening the doors and welcoming everyone in.”
The opening represents the latest stage in Taskers’ continued growth, with the family-run business, which has been serving customers in Liverpool since 1958, continuing to invest in new ways to bring its products and in-store experience closer to communities across the city region.
Taskers Formby will open Monday-Saturday 10am-6pm, Sunday - 10.30am-4.30pm
