The trending sport is coming to the city in a very unique way

Planning has been approved to bring the UK’s first floating Padel courts to Liverpool.

The unique sporting site, set to open at Princes Dock this autumn, will feature three courts on floating platforms alongside the world’s first floating clubhouse covering everything from fitness and wellness to socialising. Inspired by Nordic aesthetics, the clubhouse will have capacity for up to 100 guests and include a bar, kitchen and decked seating area with views of the docks.

Peel Waters has partnered with experts in floating infrastructure and Padel to bring the unique concept to life, which has now been approved by Liverpool City Council.

Those new to the sport can take advantage of the clubhouse’s on-site retail hub, which will stock Padel essentials alongside lifestyle and leisurewear from a UK-based brand which is still to be announced.
