HAVING performed to sell-out crowds in 2013, Paloma Faith is once again beating a path through the Delamere Forest as part of Forest Live, the Forestry Commission’s outdoor concert series.
Forest Live is an independent programme organised by the Forestry Commission. It is designed "to bring forests to new audiences" - although bringing new audiences to forests is probably easier.
Nevertheless, “I am so excited to do the forest tour," says Ms Faith. "I did it before and had such a wonderful time. We are very lucky in Britain to have such a beautiful and diverse landscape and I am excited to play for you there again. See you all in the summer. ”
The singer's third album A Perfect Contradiction was her fastest selling to date, certified platinum and scoring hit singles with Only Love Can Hurt Like This and Can’t Rely On You.
Income generated from ticket sales is spent on protecting, improving and expanding England’s forests and woodlands and increasing their value to people and wildlife. Over Forest Live’s 14 year history, money raised has contributed to a wide range of projects, from wildlife conservation to making improvements for visitors.
