The viral social media sensations are opening their first site in the city

TikTok famous jacket potato spot SpudBros is expanding with its first Liverpool site. With renovations already underway, the city centre site is set to be “bigger than the London store”. 

Jacob and Harley Nelson, two brothers from Preston, have built the brand from scratch, rising to fame thanks to TikTok, where they have built a loyal fanbase with their content. They now have over five million fans across various social media platforms.

Instead of opening another mobile restaurant, the boys will be taking over a unit on Queen Square - previously Costa Coffee. 

Viral restaurateurs SpudBros have revealed the location of the company's first Liverpool site. Renovations are underway to transform the city centre premises that is "bigger than the London store" for the grand opening.

Preston brothers Jacob Nelson, 29, and Harley Nelson, 22, have been stirring up excitement among their followers for several months about their latest venture. The brothers achieved international fame via social media after their TikTok content went viral, garnering over five million fans across various platforms.

They've charmed the online crowd with personal vlogs that capture snippets of their everyday antics, particularly focusing on their mobile shop – affectionately termed their tram – where they whip up jacket potatoes.

"Guys, we have got the keys for the Liverpool store. Look where we are, right next to Five Guys, down below from Nando's, let's go take you in and have a look at it. This is so sick, I can't believe it,” said Jacob in the announcement video posted on Instagram

Fans quickly flocked to the comments section to express their excitement, with one even asking whether there’s a ‘Scouse spud’ on the cards.
