THERE has already been a much talked about London launch, a bash at the Twisted Wheel in Manchester and now Liverpool gets a chance to celebrate the life Roger Eagle, on Thursday August 9.
The new Canteen venue at the Picket Warehouse is the venue as author Bill Sykes brings his biography, Sit Down! Listen To This, to the city that the late founder of Eric's adopted and inspired and whose legacy is still being felt today.
Expect a raft of well-knowns from the city's illustious musical family tree coming along, sounds from original Eric's DJ Norman 'The Cat' Killon and Bernie Connor, and plenty of surprises and familiar faces, to be announced, along the way.
The event is being co-hosted by Liverpool Confidential and The Picket, editor Angie Sammons is starting the conversation and of course there will be plenty of books to buy at discount on the night.
The author may even sign it!
