The brand has made a name with its San Francisco style pizza dough

Are you feeling lucky, punk? Pizza Punks is celebrating its brand new Liverpool restaurant opening this month by giving away 1,000 free “Punk’d up” pizzas.

Our customers have the freedom to make the experience their own – they can punk up their pizza or pasta with unlimited, quality toppings for no extra charge.

Opening Friday 14th October on Bold Street, Pizza Punks Liverpool will join the brand’s other restaurant locations across the UK, including Glasgow, Belfast, Newcastle, Leeds, Leicester and Durham.

To celebrate the opening, Pizza Punks are giving away 1000 free "Punk’d up" pizzas at the Liverpool restaurant, to the first 1000 Pizza Punks fans who sign up online. There will also be hundreds of QR codes around the city to scan for sign-up. The lucky winners will be notified and emailed their voucher for the pizza, once open.

The new 150-cover restaurant will be the largest Pizza Punks site in the UK, with a grab and go kiosk at the rear of the building and an additional 30-covers of outdoor seating on Bold Street.

Pizza Punks is famous for its “create your own” pizza experience, with 35 unlimited toppings to choose from. Your own personalised punked up pizza is made from scratch in the Pizza Punks kitchens, all for one flat fee. The menu includes Halal, vegan, gluten-free and vegetarian options.

At the helm of the restaurant is the brand’s handcrafted San Franciscan pizza dough that’s proofed for 48-hours and finished with San Marzano tomato, basil and garlic sauce and mozzarella before the house-toppings are added. It’s then cooked in wood-fired ovens for a thin and crisp base with a chewy thick crust.

Pizza Punks says the secret of its success is taking all of the best bits from Neapolitan pizza dough, using the finest Italian ingredients and methods, before ripping up the rule book and introducing them to the aged sourdough starter sourced from San Francisco.

New to the Pizza Punks offering and available at the new Liverpool site, customers can try fresh pasta, hand-made in the restaurant each day. As with the brand’s approach to pizza, guests will be given the option to punk up their pasta with a choice of sauces and ingredients with toppings such as nduja, Tuscan sausage and salt and chilli chicken.

"At Pizza Punks we do things differently, our customers have the freedom to make the experience their own – they can punk up their pizza or pasta with unlimited, quality toppings for no extra charge.
