The new two-floor Duke Street bowling venue looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun
The much-anticipated Pins Social Club will open its doors this Friday, bringing a ‘competitive and immersive social experience’ that is set to transform the city's nightlife and social scene.
Pins Social Club will incorporate twelve full-sized bowling lanes split across two floors, a casual dining area, a karaoke booth, shuffleboard, pool, table tennis, beer pong, live music, DJ’s and one of Liverpool’s longest bars.
Pins Social Club has teamed up with Bacaro and Rocket & Ruby who have developed a range of dishes
The former indoor multi-story car park has been completely transformed into 16,000 sq ft, 600 capacity, eye-catching social hangout. Set in the golden era of bowling and social clubs of the 60’s and 70’s, the venue’s theme carries through to the drinks menu, music policy and décor. Expect ‘concretes’ (milkshakes) both alcoholic and non alcoholic, sodas, spectacular cocktails, craft beers and wines. Live music will be performed four nights per week. Foodwise, Pins Social Club has teamed up with Bacaro and Rocket & Ruby who have developed a range of dishes designed to work alongside the range of activities available.
Daniel Gillbanks and David Scowcroft, creators of Pins Social Club and directors at D2, which are behind the development, said: “After years in the planning, we’re really excited to be opening the doors to Pins Social Club and introducing something brand new and totally different to Liverpool.
"Over the last few years, Duke Street has developed into one of Liverpool’s most up-and-coming areas and that’s exactly why we decided to make the street’s former indoor car park our brand new home. The venue looks absolutely fantastic and we can’t wait for everyone to see it.”
The rooftop terrace bar at Pins Social Club, which will open in spring, promises to be a prime spot for the discerning drinker. It will offer a wide range of top shelf spirits, a variety of both classic and original cocktails, and quality wines and beers from around the world. It promises to become one of the city’s hot spot when the sun starts to shine.
Gillbanks added, “The nightlife scene is changing. People don’t want to just go out and have a drink, they want to be entertained and do something fun - what we call competitive socialising. Pins Social Club is the perfect place for date nights, groups of friends and students, plus we’ll have family sessions available in the daytime. We’ve got an amazing line up of live music from DJ sets to band performances and first class food and drink, complete with waiter service and we’re confident PINS is going to become one of Liverpool’s top leisure destinations."
Pins Social Club will create over 60 new hospitality jobs.
