Paolo and Donato Cillo add fine dining restaurant to their growing list of city centre venues
Panoramic 34, the fine dining restaurant classed as one of the highest in the UK, has been taken over by the brothers behind the likes of Gran Caffe.
The sky-scraping restaurant, found on the 34th floor of the West Tower on Princes Dock, is renowned for its 360-degree view of the city and take on modern European dishes.
Now the fine dining spot is being taken over by Paolo and Donato Cillo, along with friend, fellow hospitality head and owner of Lark Lane’s Al Dente, Sham Jagota.
The brothers will add Panoramic 34 to their growing list of hospitality venues in the city region, including Il Forno, three Gran Caffe sites, Crust on Bold Street, the Italian Quarter’s Antonietta, Hey Farina and Brunchin’ and Botanico in Woolton Village.

“I am delighted to have this opportunity to work in partnership with Paolo and Donato and there is no better restaurant than the beautiful Panoramic 34,” said Sham. “Together we will bring our wealth of experience and creative ideas. I am really excited by our vision and look forward to welcoming all our guests on this amazing journey with us!”
“We have been operating hospitality venues in Liverpool for over two decades, taking time to carefully understand the city, our guests and the experience that each venue must provide,” explained Paolo Cillo. “Taking over Panoramic further adds to our growing group of restaurants and cafes, ensuring that we can offer our guests a variety of dining experiences in the city.”
Donato Cillo added: “From casual dining through to gourmet menus and now Panoramic’s fine dining experience, our venues all offer something unique for our guests and we’re proud to be able to offer something for everyone and each occasion. Myself and the team are absolutely delighted to have Panoramic as part of our group and would like to thank the previous owner Cathy Frost for this exciting opportunity.”
