A HIGH profile London gig, which last year raised almost £15,000 for the Hillsborough Justice Campaign, will take place again this year featuring John Power and the Tea Street band.
HJC London Rock, which takes place this Saturday (Nov 2), aims to raise more money, this time split between HJC and Jamie Carragher’s charity, The 23 Foundation.
It's one which is worth bearing in mind if you a Liverpool FC fan watching the game against Arsenal at The Emirates – the event is being held in The Garage – within touching distance of the ground. Doors open at 3pm and up to 600 tickets are available for the show.
As well as a set from the former La's and Cast frontman, the event will feature The Tea Street Band and London-based Contra. The Anfield Wrap will be holding a light-hearted football debate with football personalities and organiser hope to raise even more money with a raffle and auction of memorabilia.
Organiser, Kris Wyatt, said: “There are plenty of Liverpool fans in London who sometimes want to play their part and feel left out when they see fantastic events put on back on Merseyside.
“Now, fans in London are able to play that part. Events like this enable fans to come together and have a great time, whilst at the same time, raising money for a great cause.”
Tickets are priced at £15 and may be subject to a booking fee. Tickets and further information is available from here.
