From beer gardens to heated patios over 100 places in Liverpool to eat/drink outside from 12 April
With birthdays, holidays and even Xmas cancelled - or at least extremely pared back - for much of the past 12 months, a date to look forward to is a precious thing. For anyone that likes a bevvie (and a burger, maybe) in the sunshine with *checks notes* up to six people from different households or more if they're only from two different households, 12 April is that glorious date.
That's the date when lockdown is chalked to lift ever so slightly, just enough to give us permission to go back to our favourite bars, pubs, restaurants and cafes but only if they have an outdoor space. Cue everyone applying for pavement licenses.
