Frederiks knows how to put on a party
FREE private hire is a rare beast indeed, but we’ve managed to track it down – and to one of our favourite Hope Street hangouts, Frederiks, no less. Freds is the place to be whether it’s a clandestine rendezvous, discreet dinner or important meeting you’re organising or the celebration of something special like a birthday, promotion, wedding or even the most wonderful time of the year, Xmas.
Speak to Events Manager Fay and she can talk you through the options (more here), but we’ve seen the Pillbox, hidden away behind closed doors (well, a sliding wall) and revealed only to the lucky few. The self-contained secret space is purpose built for events and comes complete with full AV, plus your own private bar and the services of one of Frederiks’ experienced event managers, and is available from 10am until the wee small hours daily.
As well as the Pillbox (which is perfect for formal parties and wedding receptions, corporate functions and training days), you can hire any area of Frederiks either privately or with an open venue.Whatever the event or occasion, whatever the size, whether you’re looking for a place for business or pleasure, Frederiks can offer pretty much every kind of space, from a cosy fireside sofa to a full restaurant takeover, and all kinds of menus and drinks packages, from relaxed finger food and nibbles to a sit-down three-course meal. They’ll even organise a cocktail masterclass for groups of six or more with talented mixologist Brian sharing the art of shaking and making your favourite tipples – great for team-building and breaking the ice.
Talking of which, a winter wonderland is coming to the Georgian Quarter as the team at Frederiks has come up with an amazing Xmas menu here. Celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with a three-course festive feast at Frederiks for just £29.95 a head. There’s turkey and all the trimmings and Christmas pud, or how about seasonal soup to start, root veg nut roast main and cheese and crackers to finish? And of course there are plenty of drinks packages just perfect for party time. Why wouldn’t there be?
