This November, they’ve teamed up with Yorkshire Vintners to bring you an exclusive sample of reds, served slightly chilled alongside "a sumptuous array" of bar snacks. LBC x Ridgeside | Ridgeside Brewery | 5 November
Beer? Bonfire? Pizza? Parkin? The makings of a great Guy Fawkes, we reckon. Although the actual bonfire part is still a bit TBC, the teams behind Ridgeside Brewery and Leeds Bread Co-op have committed to some serious sourdough bakin’ and cask ale pourin’ after a triumphant neighbourly collaboration for their recent tenth birthday bash. Wharf St. Studios Winter Market | 11 November
On the banks of the canal, a creative co-working space has sprung up in Shipley, housing a network of designers and crafters in a former grade II listed textiles warehouse. On Saturday 12 November you get the chance to nosy around their workshops and purchase a few handmade gifts in time for the holidays. With food from Il Pirata Pizzata and drinks from The Gin Yard, plus plenty of speciality coffee and pastries, this will be an absolute treat. 10am-4pm.

Baby Week Leeds | The Tetley | 14-20 November
Often families don’t get a look in when it comes to gigs and entertainment in Leeds, and it can be hard to feel part of a community when your little one’s schedule rules the house. Leeds International Film Festival | Multiple venues | 3-17 November
The 36th Edition of Leeds International Film Festival returns this Autumn, with a superb mix of British debuts, Cannes prize winners, foreign language shorts and horror fan classics. This year there really is something for everyone; celebrating disabled filmmakers, Jamaican music, and Ukrainian cinema, with panel discussions and….Paul Mescal. Screening at venues including Cottage Road, The Everyman, Howard Assembly Rooms and Vue at The Light.
Leeds Comedy Project | Headrow House | 14 November
We love Leeds Comedy Project. This super fun super supportive new material night brings a ray of sunshine to those Monday Blues. These guys have dotted about the city, from the Brunswick to Nation of Shopkeepers, and have now found a neat home on the first floor or Headrow House. Expect belly laughs aplenty as these young talents test their metal before carving up the UK comedy scene. From 8pm.

Thought Bubble | Multiple Venues | 4-13 November
Founded in 2007 by illustrator Lisa Wood, and the Director of the city’s much-loved Travelling Man comic store Nabil Homsi, Thought Bubble has gone from the basement of the Town Hall to becoming The UK’s Biggest Comic Art Festival. Featuring exclusive screenings, book signings, masterclasses, print fairs, special guests and exhibitions right across Yorkshire - cosplay at the ready. Harrogate Convention Centre never looked so good.
Chow Down Drag Brunch | Temple Arches | 12 and 27 November
Drag Brunches seem to be a real thing now, and why not bring a touch of glamour to your weekend breakfast table? This Winter Chow Down are in on the act with showstopping performances from the hottest queens in the North. Expect table dancing, hair flicking, DJs and a complimentary cocktail with each ticket. But hurry, tables are already being snapped up for their Hoedown on 12 November and Burlesque Brunch on 27 November. From midday.

Florence And The Machine | First Direct Arena | 25 November
Despite its title, Florence And The Machine’s new album Dance Fever is a powerful pop removal from the swelling string ballads Welch is known for. These personal tracks explore her anxious public image, the pandemic, rage, desire and redemption. Cited as “the triumphant sound of a singer reborn” by NME, catch the band with support from Willie J Healey at the First Direct Arena. 6pm.
